I plan to use my new BeoPlay in a way that streaming radio can be started via the device directly rather than using a smartphone. Device is a  BeoPlay A6 with current firmware 1.7.449.214258016 and the following behavior:

TuneIn login is configured for the A6 so that the device can access TuneIn's favorite list. When I plug out (cut off from power) and plug in again the device and activate the device with the On/Standby soft button, a stream of the favorite list starts to play automatically after a couple of seconds. Great. This shows login for TuneIn works.

If i set the A6 to Standby (via Activate/Standby Button) and activate the device as before, no stream is being played. It seems that sometimes the ">" Soft button seems to help, but normally the A6 goes into standby again when this button is being used.

Therefore playing a TuneIn stream via the A6 directly does not work (except power is being cut off before).

Anybody with the same problem or a solution available?

Thanks

In the BeoSetup app you can configure in what order the sources on your A6 should be activated, when starting from standby.

This mean that from Standby, you can tap in the center of the A6 "edge" and e.g TuneIN start to play.

Another tap in the middle of the A6 can start Deezer, and so on.

To jump to e.g next channel in the favourites list, you tap to the right of the center on the A6.

Hope this helps.

So just to be clear, when you plug out the A6 from the wall and replug in, it works as expected.

However, when you set to stand by it doesn't?

When you say stand by button do you mean the power button on the left or the one in the middle?

When i put mine in stand by i use the beomusic app and under a6 if you scroll down the bottom there is a standby option.

What happens when you try that?
