Give the startbutton a series of somewhat harder activations.Not VERY hard, just an amount of "controlled force".It will losen the oxide-layer that forms on the contacts when the deck hasn't seen use for some time.Having said that, it's possible to take the frontpanel apart all the way and clean the contacts.Remove the screws and lift off the circuitboard.Martin

I´m afraid to break the super thin leads to the lamps. Or are they attached to the circuitboard?
