Have a problem with a Beogram 2200:

If I press PLAY nothing happens. If i press TURN the disc turns and the lamp for "33" lits up. If I press and hold TURN and simultaneously press STOP, the tonearm swings in, the single I tested with is lifted up, and the record is played at 33 speed. No reaction if I press 45. With a LP the tonearm drops where it should.

Questions:

1) Not being an electronics engineer, is there something I can search for regarding the problems with the start mechanism? Stick out tongue

2) I have demounted the panel where the buttons sits, but it appear not to be possible to take it apart more than this, without needing to do some soldering. Any suggestions?

3) Can anyone source a panel as sparepart?

Pics of detached panel:

Give the startbutton a series of somewhat harder activations.
Not VERY hard, just an amount of "controlled force".
It will losen the oxide-layer that forms on the contacts when the deck hasn't seen use for some time.

Having said that, it's possible to take the frontpanel apart all the way and clean the contacts.
Remove the screws and lift off the circuitboard.

I´m afraid to break the super thin leads to the lamps. Or are they attached to the circuitboard?
