Hello all!

In my set up when the projection screen is down the BeoPlay V1 is right behind it and as a result I can not control it via IR remote (beo6 specifically). I also own a lintronic rt238 but I already use it to control some stbs I have in a cabinet.

Is there a way to connect an external IR receiver to V1 so I can place it at some place that the screen will not cover it?

Thank you

Anastasios

You can use the BeoRemote app instead

BV Harmony 65 / Eclipse 55 / BL 50 / 19 / 18 / BS 2 all brass

BV Horizon 48 / V1 40 / BL 17 / Beoplay S3 all black

V1 / BL 3 / BS Essence MKII / Beoplay A3 all white

BS Moment / BS 3000 / BS 3200 / BL 400 all silver

Headphones / bluetooth speakers / BLC NL-ML / BLGateway

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !

There are STBs that B&O has no codes for them so the "translation" is done by the rt238 which can not be controlled by the app. :-(

You could try to increase the strength of the ir signal on the Beo4 (1710)

I remember a solution from Marmitek but no details in mind. Search for 455 khz bang olufsen marmitek ir extender. I might be wrong, so don't blame me Smile
