Hi, plz help me connect my two BeoSound 1 in multiroom system. I'm trying to connect through AirPlay from my iPad but always plays only one speaker. Can help?

Due to AirPlay restrictions you can not join in on to an airplayed source from one NL-device on another.

Have you tried e.g. joining in, when the source is a (TuneIN-)netradio station?

MM is correct. You cannot distribute AirPlayed content in a Multiroom setup.

Same with Spotify.

there's a possibility to stream airplay in more than one room: connect an airport express through the line-in of one of your b&o products. works pretty well with my blc-converter (thanks again, millemissen, for the advice)

edit: just seen. i hope you have more than the two BS1´s

Yes, that works. However, the DAC in an Airport Express is not very good, so one that is picky would argue the sound quality is impacted.

If you have iTunes on a Mac you are able to broadcast to more than one speaker.

With just an iDevice you only send to one destination because of rights restrictions built into the software.

Do you have a Mac?

One may hope, that Apple - some way or another - choose to solve this problem of restriction with iOS/AirPlay.
