hi i have a capacitor that is 3000 uf and its reading 2872 .can anyone tell me if this is ok or needs changing thank you

It's not possible to say either way. Capacitance readings are often not very helpful in accessing the health of a capacitor. ESR measurements generally give a better indication but you'll need an ESR meter to measure this.

Are there any visual indications this capacitor is failing? eg, leaking, bulging etc?

What's the problem / symptoms of your BM3000-2?

hi martin 2 of the capacitors have a little bulge about 8mm and the fuses keep blowing.idont no if this helps but i left it switched on over nite
