Beocenter 2 problem

My very underused BC2 is not loading correctly. When I press LOAD the two wings open but the plastic tray does not open all the time. Is this an easy fix ?

It is most likely the gearbox and/or the rubber belt that needs fix/adjust. It is easy, but you need to open up the unit. Find the service manual, and you are very well on your way :)
