Hello everyone

I got myself a B&O Horizon a while back. The setup has gone well except for one thing, I can't get the PUC for my Apple TV 2nd to work. I have installed the PUC and assigned it to HDMI 1. I have tried many positions for the IR-blaster on the aTV but nothing works?

How to get it to work properly? Do I need to do any settings on my Beoremote One BT?

Hi

The puc and the corresponding Puc plug e.g puc1 must match.

You can check the plaster with the front facing camera on your iphone.

Hi

I have tried different PUC-ports, tried 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B. No one works. can't get a blaster signal. Any clues?

So the cable works, i seem to get a signal through. it flashes when i press a button on the Beoremote.

Then the problem should be with the placement of the sensor? I tried the one in the picture above, does not work.... ?

Maybe a stupid question, but did your BV notice the Apple TV during set up and did it subsequently download the software needed to let the PUC work?

Guess you have used the apple remote in the past?

Go to settings on the AppleTV and find "remotes". Delete pairing. There is a good chance, that it doesn't work with the IR blaster, because the ATV is locked to the ATV remote

In general with PUC I have found that if the IR blaster is directly on top of the IR sensor its not as successful as if it is just slightly offset.

I did however use the new ATV (yes I said I would never get one lol) with my Sony TV and it works with the ATV remote.  I don't even need the Sony remote now AND no PUC cables (not that they use puc).... I must try this out when I get home with the B&O...

Which reminds me I think I will need to order the new bracket from STB for my new ATV.
