Hey everyone... I am new here, and I dont know if this question has ever been aksed here..but feel free to tell me so.  Ok, so my question: I own a Beogram 1000VF (with a built-in preamplifier) and & a Beomaster 900 M with a pair of Beovox S30. Great set, but
I get a very fainted sound while playing my Beogram with the Beomaster. I have to turn it very loud and then I hear some music with a lot of hiss. I'm thinking of opening up the Beomaster and clean it with some WD40 .
Does anyone know about this problem and have a solution? Or any advice would be very welcome!

Hope to hear someone.

Are you sure the pre-amp is there? There is a slot under the 1000 if I remember correctly and the amplifier slides out. If it is there, try the gram into the tape input and see if it works. Without the pre-amp, the sound will be very quiet and lacking in bass.

And keep the WD40 in the garage.
It will do NO good in any stereo.

Hey Peter,

Thx for your reply! I'm gonna look into that. I bought it from the first owner, and it played perfect. But It could be a problem with the preamp or the Beomaster connection. I'll let you know if figured out some more.

Thx. Martin...I'll put that away, I heard Deoxit is a better choice.

Hey Peter, I took an inside look at my Beosmaster, no pre-amp in there. So while I checked that out, my next step will be, cleaning by Beomaster & cables

Hope that it will fix my problem.
