Hello friends. Just got an email from my retailer offering sale of BL3 for about $2800. I take this as a sign they are going end of life. And it's not strange. No wisa or RJ45, which all current B&O speakers have (well almost). So could be a good idea to think about that.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

Still a speculation however probably eventually as all those 'old' David Lewis era are going. BL2 probably not far behind if not already. BL5 are a strange exception being basically unchanged since 2003.

Hopefully there's something to replace it in the small mainline series other than that god awful looking BL17.

I rather like the look of the BL 17's but I do think the BL3's look much nicer. Wish they just updated them to have modern specs.

They probably will update it and call it Beolab 30

At which point it'll probably be at least 50% more expensive, uglier, and turn on with noise at full volume at random intervals...

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
