Hi Beoworlders,
would it be a good idea to connect a Googlecast on a Playmaker (and how), or better to skip directly to a Beosound Essence ?

As leogoeswild wrote, that will work fine.
However, I see in your post, that you have an M5.
So, if you don't already have the Playmaker, why not go for the Essence (2nd gen) right away.
Would give you more possibilities.
If you are just interested in Google Cast, you could make a 'cast group' of the M5 and the CCA/Playmaker (as a cheaper option).
