Hi, guys! Can anyone tell me in five words your personal experience with your Bang & Olufsen products?

That would be great to know :)

At their best the user can expect beautifully crafted product that gives an experience unrivalled in the industry.

As for ,at least, 50% of the rest of my experience of the product range, regret is what I and my fellow purchaser/owner friends feel.

Not what they used 2be.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

A month ago my answer would have been:

Part time unpaid beta tester

Now it is:

Incredible hardware, software getting there

It's always been the same on TV chassis. Beosystem 3 was a nightmare when it was put in the Beovision 7. And back then you had to call an engineer out each time for a software update. Beosystem 4 was not to bad when they introduced it in the V1. By the time it arrived in the Avant it was mostly rock solid.

I really dont understand the shift to the latest chassis other than for cost and reduced spend on r&d. It feels like a step backwards on many fronts and not just reliability. Android should give a decent os with readily available development talent I assume. And who cares about SmartTV. The market is still way too dynamic to be making bets.

5 Expressions from me;

Good products, especially speakers. Software improved, especially in audio products. Where have the dealers gone? Bring Tue back. Confused TV strategy.
