hello beoworlders,

one of my beolab 1 would yet again not return from stand-by mode. it would turn on momentarily (fraction of a second) and return back to stand-by.

would it be the the tweeter again?? last time it was reconed here in india. would you recommend to change it to a brand new instead? also what could be the approx. cost of the same.

your replies are much appreciated.

thanks very much indeed

regards

pattabhi

If it is the same issue, I think I'd go with a new tweeter given how long the recone lasted (maybe a year?).  On the other hand, it is my understanding that the BL1 has all kinds of "fail-safe" circuitry so this "instant stand-by" behavior could be caused by any number of other faults.
