I have a couple of Beolit 500 questions (early 1960s version).
1) Does anyone know if the battery for the tuning is still available and if so, where from? I used two small car alarm batteries as recommended by Tim Jarman but they don't quite fit properly. The correct battery would be better!
2) I note from the 1967 catalogue (UK) which states that the device was not available in the UK. I understood it was sold here though. Did it only arrive in the UK a little later?
I have two of these and do rather like them! Would be nice to get them working back to their full potential, who knows, I may even use them as an intercom!

Yes, those batteries are rare to find but still available. I am using this one in my BL500 but you can order it here too.
