Who knows what the socket POWER LINK is for on the AV 9000 ? How can i use it ?

I mean the POWER LINK socket near the MASTER LINK socket...to be more precise

OKI thanxs. I have BEOSYSTEM 7000 white... I tried to connect AV 9000 from this POWER LINK to POWER LINK on the BEOSYSTEM 7000 but unpossible to hear a source from the BEOSYSTEM... What went wrong...

All the manuals are very coy about this socket - the one on the back of the monitor, not the two pairs on the control module. I suspect it is simply a stereo feed as the monitor is to all intents an MX6000. Not sure what you can use it for though!

To connect to the 7000 system, you need the audio connection box 1614. This allows the 7000 and AV9000 to talk to each other.

Yes the one near the MASTER LINK and over the BEO STAND...

You can also use the original AV9000 ML converter 1610. Connect it via a Masterlink cable and your BS7000 via an Audio Aux Link cable and a Powerlink cable. Set the switch to position 3. BS7000 should be programmed to A.OPT 0 , AV9000 to V.OPT2.
