Hi there, i have my BV14 installed. Woohooo. Multi room seems to be behaving etc. However I cannot for the life of me find out how to edit what appears in 'List' on the BeoRemote One BT for each source. Anyone got any idea?

Whilst we're on it - I don't seem to be able to set a stand position for each source as I could do on my BV11 - is this just not there yet?

You need to do it from the remote advanced options 👍🏻💯

You need to add the sources to LIST from the remotes advanced option.

They maybe under the MUSIC button?

You can add and remove sources under MUSIC and LIST from the remote's advanced options under LIST.

Thanks for the response @Kiran but that only seems to work for when the remote is in IR mode. What is available in LIST seems to be sent to the remote from the BV14 when in Bluetooth mode. Confused

Thank you @kiran but I think that's only for IR mode. The contents of LIST seem to be sent from the TV over bluetooth. I can't see any options to edit this on the TV though.

Wow I don't have experience with the Bluetooth side of BeoRemote One. Mine is IR. Is bluetooth built into the new remotes?

Hopefully someone will be able to help you 👍🏻

You can (re)name the sources as you please, when setting these up.

And you can decide if or not and where they should appear in the lists on the remote.

See page 24 - 'BeoRemote lists' in the userguide.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thanks @millemissen for your help - I found this, but what I'm wanting to do is manage what is available when I press 'list' on the various sources I have. There's lots of default stuff in there I don't want displayed for example.

I'm guessing they will add this in an update if it's not there now as it means you can't edit what's shown for 'light' and 'control' when in Bluetooth mode. This is a whole other subject though about the BV14 and the BLGW which I'm going to be posting about in home automation!

Chris....you have to do it on the tv settings....chose a source from the source list, select menu lists, and go from there.....it is different from the regular BR One...

what you can't do yet (i believe) is (a) edit the Music and TV list that appears on the home screen of the BV14......and (b) when you link a product to the BV14, all of those sources appear on the remote and home screen Music / TV icons......

guessing those latter two cases need to be added as options....

Thanks @sandyb I'll try tonight. Have had the parents down this weekend. I'm sure I didn't see this in the menus before but will report back.

You're correct on the other issues too. Annoying that I can't hide/deactivate the sources coming from my Essence over the network on the TV. It's even more frustrating that I can't set stand positions for sources and also set settings on the shared sources as you can on the local ones. Grrrr!

Still love it though :-)

Hi @sandyb have a look at the attached picture - there is the "BeoRemote Lists" menu but this just defines where the source is shown on the remote menus. I can't see anywhere to change what's show in 'List' for each source on the remote Sad

yes, thus far, this is the way it works.....you go through each source (TV as you have shown above), and assign it to either / both / no list.....teh only way to see the results amalgamated list is on your actual remote......

so yes, there is nowhere on the settings menus to see what each lists comprises....only on the actual remote as mentioned above.....peroanlly i haven't found that a problem......or am i missing something.......

the real pain at the moment is that once you link a product, all of its connected sources show up, and there is no way to manage that list as yet....

Hi, I'm talking about what you see on the remote screen when you press 'list' on the remote itself.

ah i see..apologies.....not quite sure what you are trying to do....

when you press List on the remote, you will see a whole load of choices....so for me, right now i have :

BV14-55, SKY HD, OPTIONS, TEXT, STAND, SHOW PICTURE, FORMAT, SOUND etc etc......i can't edit that list of choices....

when it comes to the source specific functions, for example i can shift right on the SKY HD, and i get a bunch of SKY HD functions....i don't think you can edit that list of SKY specific functions either...but they seem the same as on a BV11 (for example) when you press menu, and about 7-8 source specific functions came up on the TV screen....dont think they ever showed on the BV 11 remote (for Sky "Record" or "Box Office" etc)....those same functions now seem to get sent to the bluetooth remote.....find them quite useful actually......but seems better than with the BV11 i.e. old system...

anyway, long winded way of saying, no i haven't found anyway to edit either the broader set of choices under List, nor the source specific functions......

Aye aye that's the menu I want to be able to edit. It's not the end of the world, but it is possible in IR mode and is just handy to hide things you never use.

ah i see.....with you.......having fun with the 14?

mine seems pretty stable now.....still have remote communication issues.....have to reselect the source and the remote then works.....but mostly all seems relatively fine now.......even enjoying the ability to stream from my phone to the TV (podcasts mainly), but useful i find....

I am having fun - although it's still pretty dodgy and missing features that my BV11 had. The remote sync issue isn't too big a deal but is poor for such an expensive product. I'm also desperate for it to pass commands through to my BLGW! Hopefully the next update is a big remote-focussed update.

How are you streaming directly? I'm joining the TV to my Essence which seems to be working ok, although I wish I could get the BV14 to hide the other linked sources that I don't use as you mentioned before!

The BV14-55 is in my bedroom. I dont stream to it often to be honest. For most music and radio, it just borrows my Moment, even though that is connected to my main lounge setup......i only really stream Podcasts to the 14 from my iPhone....i listen to quite a few, and that way is a touch quicker than selecting the podcast app on the Apple TV........

yes, i think i'll speak to B&O regarding list management....i don't mind it being done on the TV settings menu's, would like the ability to hide some linked sources firstly, and also edit what shows on the TV and MUSIC icons on the home screen.

I think there is still some part of multi-room that is missing, though struggling to think of exactly what, most of my use cases seem covered......

So do you Googlecast directly to the TV? Or do you mean you AirPlay to your AppleTV?

directly to the TV.....actually quite a nice experience.......i set it off on my latest episode, and it generally cycles through them, newest to oldest until i get bored....dont really googlecast any video content, can't see much need for that myself.......
