I wonder if there is any significant improvement in performance with the software update. I can't any information on this online.
I have interference on the wireless transition when using a microwave. Would this improve with the sofware update?
Thanks

A Microwave oven can often cause interference to any Wi-Fi and similar devices depending on type of Microwave, power, screening and placement.
B&O's installation manual states:-
The Beolab Transmitter 1 has an omnidirectional transmission characteristic, although this can not be an ideal sphere. The transmitter and the receivers of the loudspeakers must have line-of sight. The transmitter and the speakers are placed inside an area that is recommended to have the maximum of 9 x 9 metres / 30 x 30 feet
The distance between the Beolab Transmitter 1 and any receiver must not exceed 12 m / 40 ft.Ideally there must be placed no objects between the Beolab Transmitter 1 and the speakers - especially not objects consisting of material that will block or totally material that will block or totally reflect the wireless signals.
A software update if available is unlikely to improve this interference problem.
How old is your microwave oven, if over 5 years it may well have limited RF shielding
Regards Keith....
Thanks Keith.
The microwave is only 2 years old. Most of the time we use it at 800 w
The transmitter is inside a covert in front of the speaker. It is standing next to the essence. Would that have any impact on performance?
Would you recommend updating the software anyway? Any benefit?
