Which type number has the DVBT2 module for HD in the UK? Or the serial number when this and the 3 HDMI inputs were introduced. Thanks David.

You'll be looking for a UK Mk3 - Type Number 9553

For the 46" version (in case you want to "go large") the Type Number would be 9555.

Yes - thumbs up

9553 many thanks Lee. I might even go smaller if anything but I think the 40 will be best to replace a 32 Avant.

I did that - and regretted it - the sound is nothing like as good. Sold the 10 and kept the Avant.

I also did it but overall prefered the BV10 than the Avant.

The sound was "poor" but the picture was great and what a nice design.

With a BV11-40 you have the best of both worlds (sound and picture + smart fonction PUC...)...

I also changed from old Avant DVD to BV10 40. And like Peter said sound not as good but this wasn't an issue with me as I have external surround BL speakers and have been very happy with its overall performance so much so I don't feel the need to upgrade yet

I had external speakers including a BL2 but it seemed to lack in the presence band and no manner of fiddling corrected it. The picture was indeed far better on HD content though. The 11 is supposed to be much better. Very pretty television though - I had it on the motorised stand and it almost seemed to float in the room.
