Tiny dustcover bumpers for Beogram 8002?

I'm missing one of the two bumpers at the front corners of my 8002 dustcover. It seems like a part that could be fabricated/MacGuyvered from something else. Has anyone else already been down this path and come up with a viable substitute?

Yes, about half way down here you can see how a 1/8" thick O-ring was used.

Thanks. I thought of a variation on the O rings that I'm going to try. I'll report back after.
