Hi all

I recently bought a pair of Beolab 2500 to go with my Beosound 3000 in the bedroom.

Originally, they worked fine. However, I recently moved them to a different position in the room, and since then the speakers keep on buzzing. I tried already everything I could think of, including using different power cords, and feeding each BL individually with a power cord.

i noticed that even when they are not connected to the Beosound, they start buzzing. One speaker is buzzing louder than the other one. It is really very annoying.

Any suggestions what I could do to solve this? In the meantime I disconnected them and use my Sonos again Sad

I really hope you can give me some good pointers to get this solved!

Did you get some more powerlink cables when you moved your speakers?have you joined them somewhere?

You must use the correct cables.

It seems as though you have a grounding/screening problem somewhere.

You can get the correct cables from Steve at Sounds Heavenly, there is a link at the bottom of this page.

ps.I don't have any connection with Steve (sorry,no pun intended!).I'm just a satisfied customer of his.

Nick

Update: the issue was solved without changing anything. I legt the speakers connected to the power Supply and to the beosound (switched off - so red light on). After some hours the buzzing was gone.

No idea how to explain this behaviour.... but problem solved!
