I'd really appreciate some advice, my ever reliable BS3000 that routes N.MUSIC around the house and is used ocassionally by my wife to play CD's has stopped responding to the LOAD button. What could be the problem?
I've heard somewhere that the clamper is driven by a rubber belt, is this true? If so where might I get a replacement and how easy is it to get inside the unit and make the repair?
Best,
Rob
That is correct.
My 3200 clamper went out in 2010, with the same symptoms you described.
Not knowing how to replace that item without causing additional morbidity or damage as a consequence, I took it back to B&O where it was sent on for repairs. From what I understand, it can be expected to happen.
If you are a Beoworld gold member, you might be able to download the service manual for your BS 3000 and determine if you can perform this yourself.
