Many years ago I was given a B&O Mx 4000 tv set as birthday present. It served me very well for many years. Later I got a combined DVD hard disk recorder which I connected to the television with scary cable. There was however one smal problem. Connected this way there was no sound in the right channel. At the moment I am using a Mx 7000 in my summerhouse connected to a mpeg 4 tuner with a scary cable... And surprise, there is no sound in the right channel???? Can anyone technically inclined among you suggest how to fix this interface problem?
I know it is a minor problem. But annoying newer the less. So thanks a lot in advance for suggestions.
All the best from Denmark.

My guess is that the connector in the cable just won't go deep enough. Audio R out is on pin 1, which is the outermost pin on the straight end of the connector and it might be the first to lose contact.
Some cables have too short blades in the connector that won't mate properly with all sockets, and some have so big outer shells that they won't clear the opening in the case of the device. I've had to remove some plastic around the SCART socket in my MX2000.
