BeoLab 3500 link speakers - 230V & 240V

Whats the difference between the BeoLab 3500 link speakers with 230V and with 240V pls.

While I am not an electrician, I believe the difference lies in standards. 230V is the new standard, as I believe it leads to less loss of power when transfering it. As for the speakers, my guess would be that the 240V is slightly older or manufactured in a country that previously featured 240V current, whilst the 230V is then newer or manufactured for a market which had the new standard. Perfomancewise the voltage shouldn't differ them. I would check the serial number if I wanted more information.
