Hi!
Today I changed my wall remote to a table remote.....(essence mk1), but all my efforts to pair it failled.
I reset the Essence and made all the steps as a fresh new install......nothing.
Can somebody help me?
Thank you!
Hi,
The "table" remote is the same device as the "wall" remote. The only difference is that Bang & Olufsen is not written on the table remote. So the electronic and the pairing process are identical.
If it has worked previously, it should work with the new one...
I've discovered that the remote's light are still working even if the batteries are too low to send any signal.
--> try again with fresh - not rechargeable - batteries, if you didn't already tried that...
By the way, did you check that your new remote is set correctly (i.e. is on the right mode)?
Also check this table to know on witch mode it's set.
It's a problem in the firmware of the Essence Remote. Bang & Olufsen knows the problem. Soon they have a solution and the remote needs to be swapped. For now repairing is a solution or switch of the Essence every day st night for example

Has someone at B&O actually said that we will need to have the remotes replaced?
