We have purchased a Beogram RX2 and Tonearm travels automatically beyond the start of the record to the middle and then starts playing, irrespective of the vinyl size. We have tried to move it back to the start of the record but it won't accept it and keeps wanting the start point to be in the middle of the record.

I'm sure it's a simple thing for us to adjust...the sound quality is amazing so please any assistance is appreciated.

Many thanks

J.

Hi, I'm having the same issue with my RX2. Can't seem to find any information about it on the web.

Did you solve the issue or is it still a mystery?

Does it consistently set down where a 7" 45 would begin?

I've owned but never opened one of these. But I hunch that somehow the protruding 45 adapter on the spindle is not telling the deck that it is pushed down under a larger disc, not a 7" disc?

Does it automatically start at 45 rpm speed?

From what I know, there is an adjustable cam in there somewhere, but I've never had to look for it.
