Hallo.

Does anybody know how to delete totally the Hard drive files on the BS 3200 so I can start putting fresh files on the unit?  I can only work out how to do it one at a time.  Very frustrating & time consuming.  Grrrrr!!  Grizzle grizzle!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Danke.

Morgen Rex,

A shot in the dark (can't confirm this works as I'm away from my BS3200)....have you tried pressing DELETE once you've selected the coloured group (to try and delete the entire group), rather than proceeding through to selecting an individual CD or track as per the manual?

As I say, this is just a guess, but perhaps worth a try at least.

Tschuss.

Thanks Tschuss, but I worked it out - a secret squirrel told me how to do it.  Stick out tongue

I'll leave it here for future reference for others -

Press DISPLAY  0258 brings up test mode

Factory reset is T31 then GO or PLAY cant just remember

Rex,

That's great. I'll keep that one in mind (write in the manual too)

BTW: I signed off with a DE "bye" in my previous post in response to the couple of German greetings you used. Sorry for the confusion.

Regards,

Matthew
