HDR2 - Dark Picture on BV7 - Help pls

Hi there,

I'm just cabling our new home and have an issue with our HDR2.

The recorded picture is very dark and I don't have any clue what to do against it. The aerial is looped through and the TV picture is perfect but recorded stuff and the on screen menu is very dark...

any ideas?

Hi Stefan,

try to adjust the brightness in the (hidden) service menue of HDR2:

Go in menu of HDR2 to SETUP and press GO

Go to EXTRA and press 0 0 GO

In AV BOARD MENU select PICTURE ADJUSTMENTS

There you can adjust the settings of the picture, especially BRIGHTNESS

Thanks for the help Raeuber, the hidden menu also has the menu option " RGB output ", I switched this from "on" to "off" and the picture is now almost perfect.
