Beosound Ouverture will not play AUX on Powerlink after connection to Masterlink

My Beosound Ouverture has ceased to output sound to (its own) Powerlink from AUX input after a connection to Beolab 2000 on Masterlink.

The AUX input is wired correctly to DIN connector and carries sound from a Sony TV (line out).

AUX Input has worked fine for several years.

Initially after first ML connection the Beolab 2000 could repeat the AUX sound from the Besound Ouverture, also as well start playing AUX sound on Beolab 2000 only.

After disconnection of Masterlink, the AUX input sound on Besound Ouverture was effectively muted, but Powerlink loudspeakers came on with green light.

Radio, CD and Tape works as normal, only AUX is 'muted'

A reconnection of Masterlink to Beolab 2000 makes AUX input sound available on Beolab 2000 but NOT Besound Ouverture.

Its like the AUX input sound has become stuck in A-Opt 0, while the rest is A-Opt 1
