Just a heads up..
You may be aware that Keith is studiously and methodically upgrading the security of BeoWorld to the very latest, and highest standards - not only to further minimise the already near non-existent downtime, but to further secure any personal data held by us as part of your membership registration (the same as any forum).
Nobody has ever breached our firewalls or security as Keith is deeply technical, but taking us to this extra level with have us on a par with websites many times the size of ours who employ full time staff to do this.
We're not a real target for serious hackers, and we may be using a sledgehammer to crack a nut - but, it's always better to be safe.. If you look like you're too much effort, the hacker moves on to someone easier..
So, the message of this post is that at some point this week (and a new announcement will be made with the exact day) the BeoWorld WEBSITE ONLY will be offline for around 2-4 hours..
Not a huge amount of time - but Keith being Keith, he feels this is time we shouldn't be down - although it's unavoidable! A perfectionist? Yes..
So - once again, if you come back and the website is offline before you've had chance to read the 'Final Notice', this will be why..
