The Beomasters 5000/55/65/7000 all feature a clever system whereby the output load is monitored by the computer, and if it goes beyond preset parameter's,the volume is automatically reduced to protect the amplifier/speakers.It works well, but I was'nt aware that it was employed in the Beocentre 9000 and derivatives too?
I've just repaired a BC9500,that is used at moderate volume with two pairs of RL speakers. After an hour or so,the volume decreases, and the bar display drops a couple of segments.
It's a late model '9500,praps it has the load control? My original manual does'nt show it,hence the question.
Thanks,
Nick
