So my BeoSound Overture arrived earlier this week I've currently been managing on a Powerlink-RCA cable which came with it inside the box with the unit and is paired into my Sony amplifier.
I've now just ordered some B&O S3 wireless speakers and intend to use them in cable config with my Overture. They do appear to be more of a wireless speakers, but also have the aux and a daisy chaining ability. So it seems for this I would have two ways I could connect?
Would I be better runnings as...
1. Buying two Powerlink - 3.5MM adapter cables and running each speaker individually into the back of Overture's two Powerlink ports?
Or
2. Using a simple 3.5mm double ended audio jack cable to link the two speakers directly together, put it in cabled daisy chain mode and then just use a Powerlink - 3.5mm lead into the back of the configured master speaker and then the other end into the back of the Overture system.
I imagine both options would work, I'm guessing option 2 would be the best for stereo sound?
I hope you can assist,
cheers

Hi Ryan,

The simplest option is to run one S3 speaker from the Ouverture and then daisy-chain the other speaker from the first one, as when one S3 speaker in a pair is linked directly to the music player, it automatically picks the left audio channel and passes the right audio channel to the link speaker.

As the space is very tight in the S3 socket panel, special slim plugs are needed.  Details of the cables to use the Ouverture headphone socket are shown below, but if you would like me to quote for a cable to connect to one of the Powerlink sockets instead (the results are exactly the same either way), please let me know.

For the simplest solution, please use one of these cables from the Ouverture headphone socket to the left speaker and another cable between the two speakers:-
