First danish receiver using printed wiring!
- A brand new technology.

The principle is, that copper on a plate of insulating material performs the task of connecting components electrically.

It can even act as coils, resistors etc.
Hereby is improved electrical data, consistency and stability achieved, the final circuit can be made smaller and the placing of components can be done more appropriate.

In Pioneer 511K printed wiring is used for the FM high-frequency part, fitted directly on the tuning capacitor.

The countless pros of this interesting principle will find wide use in future receivers.
Also in this important development B&O shows the way.

Note: Pioneer 511K started production in late 1955.

A big and important advancement from point to point wiring that was common before this. We have evolved to multi-layer boards and surface mount devices, and even opto-electric couplers. Thanks for posting this, it's a fascinating look back!
