Hi!

I'm facing some difficulties with an older Beo4 remote. The issue is the keypad which has only few buttons working.

So far I have taken the remote apart and cleaned the contacts of the individual buttons, no luck. The second attempt was to remove the keypad foil from the pcb, clean the contacts betweeen them and then carefully refitting the keypad foil to the pcb. Still no luck. Could this be a component issue rather than a keypad issue? Has anyone got any good suggestions what to try next? (Hopefully the next step isn't discarding the remote.)

Meanwhile I asked for a quote for a new pcb+keymat, but it hardly makes any sence due to the price.

Thanks!

Pretty sure it will need a new PCB. I would sell it as spares and buy a cheap one off ebay!!!
