Hi all, long time lurker first time poster here!
So a week ago we had a problem with our Avant 55 not turning on. The TV was just outside of its 3yr warranty but B&O agreed to hounour the warranty and last Friday an engineer was sent out to replace the power board.
All was fine until tonight when we tuned the TV on and the speaker failed to descend! There is sound coming from it, we tried leaving the Avant off for a few minutes and turning back on but no joy :( Anybody got any ideas? I'm really worried that the engineer has installed a dodgy reconditioned power board, it seems too much of a coincidence that three days later we get this problem with the speaker.
Obviously i I will contact my B&O shop tomorrow, but I am starting to worry about the reliability of the set now. We bought Beolab 18's to go with the TV and love the aesthetics of this setup but I also don't want to be stuck having to pay for repairs to a TV that is only just 3yrs old!
Cheers
Simon
