I have a 5500 receiver, a Beogram 9500 and two Beolab 3000's but no MCP. What controllers would work? And if more than one would work, which is preferable and why?

This is my first post. Glad to join the party.

Hi

If you don’t have a MCP, you can use a Beolink1000 or a Beo4 but with reduced functionality.

I would get the MCP

 One here-

These are very battery hungry but add a lot to the system - I would use a Beolink 1000 for everyday.

Totally agree with Peter!

Once you get the MCP (5500 or 6500 both will work) you will undoubtedly buy the rest of the 5500 system, just to marvel over the grace of the display and the two way communication.

With the Beocord even a real time VU meter function is shown by the display.
