Beovision Eclipse ?
Admittedly I only surveyed ±15% of the General Forum; but I think the Eclipse is heading to be the most contentious launch - and its pre-launch rumours were pretty high too !!!
Other contentious ones I saw were H8, H4 9or was it 5), Beosound Moment Beta ...
The largest old thread was a load test thread for this era of Forum in 2012 :)
And the largest personal thread is I think going to be Kirian and his home renovations :D
I excluded long running threads like FLASH my B&O
Keith probably could pull the status in a twinkle of his eye with an SQL request, but I was intrigued as I struggle to absorb what everyone s saying and correlated with with my own Eclipse experiences and the research I am doing ... must be a Geek day for me !
BeoNut since '75
Happy Geek Day
Aussie Michael:Happy Geek Day
Happy G(eek) day too
It seems to me that the threads show more and more contention/discontent/disagreement with B&O's designs as the new products come out. With an ever increasing number of people not being impressed by the products, which, given as much as most of us truly love our B&O, is something which should perhaps be concerning to B&O.
Certainly the products are not getting unanimous praise these days from us.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON JEFF.
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Chris Townsend:I would have thought the ever decreasing number of shops they have in affluent areas would have been a clue, let alone fanboys like me saying I'm not interested anymore.
That's what you and I might think, B&O probably thinks "we're high end and special so we don't need many dealers."
BeoGreg:Then they are crazy or stupid or both. Who on earth will buy a 11.420 € audio/video product without seeing it in the flesh ?

I agree, but then there's never been much of an indication that B&O cares much about the US market. But it is indeed a brand that you need to lay hands and eyes on and see in situ in a store to truly appreciate. More and more people though, nowadays, are eschewing brick and mortar stores which doesn't make the job any easier of trying to get people to rationalize buying expensive designer consumer electronics.
Maybe B&O simply can't compete with the larger conglomerates these days? I hate to say it, but it might be that there is no market left for B&O anymore. The gaps they once filled such as 'exceptional design' and 'something unique and different' are now obsolete since all the big boys can do the same. They haven't got the financial or human resources to compete anymore. This will leave BeoPlay but I don't think that alone will be enough to keep them afloat.
