I have a Beocrd CASSETTE DECK AND IT HAS 7 PIN OUTPUT,,,,,,,,,hOW CAN I HOOK IT UP TO BEOMASTER 19090/2400 WITH ONLY 5 PIN TAPE INPUT????????I NEED HELP.

Chief
Don´t know for sure.
I think you can unscrew the First and Last pin (data)
Take a look in the Cable from above.
Use a 5-pin to 5-pin DIN cable.

I hate to rain on your parade, but the 8004 has a LINE input requirement and the 2400 I think is DIN. The 8000 has a switch to change between the two next to the DIN socket on the back of the deck but I think the 8004 doesn't. This means that you can play back tapes with no problem but recording will be an issue. It is not insurmountable but require an electronic adaptation of the 2400 - maybe Martin can verify this?

Yes.But as Peter suggests, it's not a huge modification.
