Beovision 11-40"

Hi, some help requested:

I've just bought a secondhand beovision 11.

Tested before i bought It.

Now at home, connected everything, but no picture when I turned it on.

Green standby light comes on, and fades out after a while. But just a black screen.

I can't see a menu,  when i press menu de screen becomes a little bit lighter. But no text.

Turned it off and on again several times, disconnected everything and pluged it frommthe socket, at no avail.

Does someone recognize what is at fault?

(not even a pincode request)
