Why can't B&O compensate for the volume of Radio/TuneIn?

Perhaps this is an annoyance that we've all had to endure -- much like the issue of high volume of tv advertisements in the U.S -- which prompted government intervention. Why is it that B&O does not adjust the volume for Radio/TuneIn to be level with other sources? Am I the only one who must quickly reach for the B&O remote after switching to TuneIn to avoid being BLASTED aways by the high volume? Can we see any reason why B&O could not at least offer an adjustment in the BeoSetup?

Same issue for me with the LineIn... I have a Samsung tv connected, and listening to tv, I need the volume at around 60!!!! Try going back to Deezer on a set of Beolab Penta 3's after that :)

Can't figure out if the to is to low, or the Moment is to low. Older systems like 4500/7000 seem to have a more unified sound level on aux and the other sources.

This is a common problem not isolated to B&O. Different CD players, turntables, streamers output at different voltages depending on the manufacturer.

In order to have automatically adjusted volume so as not to be blasted, you need the amplifier within the Beolab to sense the type of input and then apply a different gain. This is possible in the BL90 when you switch between different inputs and I suspect this might also be possible with the new BL50.

Alternatively, you could insert an attenuator (basically a good quality resistor sat in a small plastic adaptor) between the source and active speaker or the source and the preamplifier.

Here is one of many examples or resident cable expert can chime in here?

Hopefully, B&O will incorporate this simple technology in their new DSP speakers going into the future.
