Hello, I have already asked a question in the German-speaking forum concerning the topic "Differences in BeoLab 3500 MK II to MK I". Maybe there is an additional info here. I would be very happy about that. The question is whether the sound of the BeoLab 3500 MK II is better compared to the MK I. I was told that the MK II already had an ICEpower module?! In any case, the basses would sound better in the MK II. Is this true? And if so, is this a result of differing hardware components or of a software update?
Thanks so much in advanve, Uli from Munich.
I have never done an A/B test with the MK I and II, but to me the MK I had a warmer sound - the MK II more crisp.
The MK II main selling point was the compatibility with Wireless 1. They were also RoHS compatible, and came in new colors (silver, black and dark grey).

Thanks Roger. Sorry for delayed answer, but my health was not so good. Your info meets my evaluation. As I do not need WiFi (trying to keep everything connected by wires) I will now go for any reasonably priced BeoLab 3500, prepared that I'll have to revise the calottes.
Thank you an enjoy the autumn with your B&O :-)
