I got a new unused Beoline and plugged it in. It will not register any phones . The light stays red on it and the 6000 and Im getting an alert on the Beocom 2.

Are beolines/beocoms country specific ? I would be surprised if it was the case particularly in Europe.

Any suggestions ?

There could well be a compatibility problem with older phones and newer Beolines.  It's all explained here, but you have to read it carefully!

There are country specific in terms of language and power, but in Europe the phones will work between countries.

Below is a compatibility chart which will help you. Did you unregister the phones from any other base unit before trying to register with the new Beoline?

Thanks for both replies but no joy so far.

Unregistering phone is 9#9#9#*int   ?

My 6000mk 2 (1100193)will register no problem with my old base  it will not register to new Beoline.(1113070)

My BC 2 which just had its software updated and a new battery (1100121) will not register with the old beoline (can find numbers) nor the new Beoline (11103070)

The reason I want to change Beoline is the old one is 3 pin socket and the new one 2 pin european power sockets.

Complicated !

Hi,

I can confirm that a Beoline ISDN works with a Beocom 5, in your overview there is no cross, but i have it working since years now, together with Beocom 6000 and Beocom 2 each MKII Versions. The Beocom 5 is from 2011.

Could the 'new used' Beoline actually have been used before?  If so, perhaps it already has too many phones registered to it?

There's some good info here about resetting both bases and phones, and also how to remove phones from a base: http://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/3649.aspx

Sorted Big Smile

It was down to me . I thought I only need enter code 9#9#9*int , I didn't realise I had to scroll down beyond that to press "reset phone"

Thanks for all the help
