hello

I bought my Beovision 10 in Russia and it appeared that there is no DVB included in the TV, Because I just moved to Spain, I am not able to get the channel from the cable.

I was told that I need to buy a decoder ! this is really pity that B&O adapt the TV to the market without taking into consideration that people may move from one country to another one.

can you help me which model should I buy if I want to use the same remote control.

as well, is there  a model of the decoder with smart TV functions ?

regards

Danijel

A Very Warm Welcome to Beoworld.

I think we need to start by determining what the four (4) type number is of your BeoVision 10

You can find it on the back of the TV and this will tell us the region it was made for and the options you normally have fitted.

If for some reason you cannot find the "Type" number we can get the configuration from the "Service Menu"

You have a BeoVision 10-40 introduced in October 2009

That type number BeoVision 10 was sold in all European countries including Spain and Russia.

It came fitted with a DVB-T (Non HD) fitted as standard with the DVB-HD as an option.

To check if it has been removed from your TV can be done by accessing the "Service Menu"

To access the service on your remote press TV then MENU then move down to SETUP then press 0 0 GO within 3 seconds

You can now view all the Service Information and under "TV SERVICE" it will say DVB CONNECTED will be either YES or NO

pucod:

I use the port AERIAL.

Is this aerial been used on another TV without problems or is it a new installation?

this aerial was used on another TV without any problem. Samsung

looking at your picture, I only have the AERIAL plug in on my TV. I do not have the DVB T/C plug on my TV!

which I do not understand. Why is it missing on my TB ?

Danijel,

Look on your BeoVision 10 TV at the position of the aerial input socket marked DVB T/C on the diagram in my previous posting and what do you see?

Is there a hole where a socket should be?

OR is there the marking on the plastic with DVB T/C embossed in the plastic above where the socket should be located?

It is clear that you have a very early version of the Mark 1 BeoVision 10 which apparently had some sockets in different locations.

From the image you sent me I can see you DO have a DVB aerial input as below.

When the BeoVision 10 was first released country's could decide if DVB was factory fitted or not, yet the Type number remained teh same.
