long time reader, first-time poster here
Recently, when I distribute sound from a video source to one of my other products there is a noticeable delay, maybe 1 or 2 seconds.
I think this has started happening in line with the recent Beoplay update to version 1.15.16495.8087133 and/or the recent BeoSytem4/Avant update to version 1.0.11.37484
I have tested this problem distributing sound from various video sources on the Avant and on the BeoSystem4 and there is always this terrible delay that was never there before. If I distribute music sources like DLNA or Deezer there is no delay.
I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this problem since the recent updates.

I have just checked with my BV11/Beoplay M5 setup (same SW versions as you have).
I have no problems when distribution sound from video - even the lip-synch is perfect.
My BV11 is cabled ethernet and the Beoplay M5 is over wifi.
Have you enabled the "Use for video"-setting on your Beoplay multi room device? (see the attached screen shot)

Thanks for taking the time to look into this for me. I think the "use for video" setting is for the line-in source only on the M5/A6/A9, but I have enabled it just in case, unfortunately the problem persists.
Also, just to clarify, the lip-sync on the Avant and the BeoSystem4 is perfect. It's the distributed audio to the M5/A6/A9 that is out of sync with the audio from the Avant and BeoSystem. I often play a video source on my TV and then join in the other products around my house, unfortunately this now causes the strangest sounding "echo" throughout my house. I'm fairly certain that this started after the recent updates.
