Hi all,

I own a Beogram 4002 which has the plastic pulley in extremely bad shape. I have the possibility of making some replacement pulleys but the one I have is not a reliable source as it is deformed (I even doubt it's the original).

Would it be possible that someone take a good photo, and some sizes of it (root diameter, high, etc), so I can produce one similar to the original?

Thanks in advance!

Here is what I have. If you need anything more let me know.

Overall dia. 35mm

Belt dia. 28mm

Overall height 11mm

Belt height 8.5mm

I'll post pics when I figure out how.

Jim.

Which pulley are you referring to?

If you are referring to the pulley for the tangential arm transport drive screw then Nick (solderon here on the forum) can supply a really nice aluminum replacement.

These aluminum replacement pulleys work great. Especially the new version.

If you are referring to the pulley on the platter motor then we would need to know which Type of Beogram you have. There is an AC platter motor on early models. Then there is a DC platter motor on later models. The platter motor pulleys for those motors are completely different.

Thanks a lot Jim, but unfortunately, my 4002 has a different version of the pulley.

This is how it looks like:

Your Beogram 4002 has a DC motor so it does have a different pulley than the AC motor Jim posted. I can measure the pulley of one of the DC motor pulleys and post it in a couple of days.
