Beoplay A8 stability airplay

I used to own a Beosound 8, was very happy with the sound quality. 

now i have the opportunity to buy an A8 for a very special price due to some cosmetic issues (scratches) but i’m in doubt since i read nothing but trouble with Airplay stability. So many negativ revieuws on it. Were there any recent firmware updates fot this thing? Many happy A8 users here?

thanks for your input. We are consider8ng buying the A8 for our bedroon, only wifi available, no ethernet cable

Perhaps you attach a chromecast if the airplay stability is not good enough.

I got mine cheaply too. When the wifi signal is strong its ok. It seems to require a stronger signal than most wifi apparatus. Better is a wired connection
