Hi i am new to this site and need your help

Have a complete 6500 system with 2 Beolab Penta Active Loudspeakers

I was Lisaning to a radio channel when there was pop and smell of burning and that speaker went  dead I removed the power supply so to get it on the work bench and found the 2amp fuse had blown as you will know a lot of bits to remove to look at the printed circuit board No visible signs of any burning i decided to replace the 2Amp fuse and plug into the main the fuse held and red light was on I had no Speakers connected or power link cable

Do i need to look at any part that may be housed within the speaker iinclosure

I have seen a lot of take about burnt out resisters and high value capacitors t

Thank you

terry
