Hello,

I recently purchased some Beovox c40 bookshelf speakers. I don't have the original amp e.t.c. so was wondering if anyone is running these on separates that aren't b&o? and could offer any advice -  cabling and what sort of rms the amp would need to be.

Thanks.

Here specs use normal speaker cable, if you speakers came with cable and plugs, the flat pin on the plug is negative.

Thanks, any suggestions for a suitable amp? Was looking for something of a similar age.

I've been looking at the various beomasters from this era. Only thing I'm not sure about is connectivity as I have other separates (record deck and squeezebox) I would like to run through the amp and would possibly like to add more in the future.

It all depend on how much you want to spend, and how good you are with electronics, nearly all vintage will need restoration or repairs, Most of these receiver/amps has phono and 1 or 2 tape inputs and 2 or 4 speaker out, But you can add a source selector, to a tape input, with as many sources you may wish. For receivers/amps take a look here
