Hello lovely people I have a super Beocenter 7000 which I love it has been passed down to me from my grandparents who have now passed away.  It has always been naughty with turning it self on at random times which I found very interesting but now no after reading through this forum the timer maybe set on it.

It now will only say on for 5 seconds then turns its self off unless I press P1 and hold down the TP button on the remote control then it will stay on have I pressed something by mistake please help me get this lovely system back working thank you so much Sue

Welcome to Beoworld.

It sounds to me like the 'idle current trimmers' - apparently quite an easy fix if you have the right kit and know what you are doing with a soldering iron.  I am only guessing this from reading about similar problems on the forum - hopefully someone more technical will read this and offer more advice!

What Guy suggested.
- Or DC on an output - typically from a leaking transistor in the differential amplfiier.
