beomaster 8000

hi my beomaster 8000 turns itself on by itself ? any time day or night .is there any advice as to what is wrong ? dont like getting up at 2 or 3 am to turn it off thanks

Noise on the 5V supply line can cause the strangest things.
I would focus on the 10uF capacitor on the regulator as the first thing.
Next, cracked solder joints and bad plugs/connectors are usually found in great numbers.

I had a beomaster 8000 that would do wierd and wonderful things on its own. Someone on this forum (Can't remember who) said the tracks on the microprocessor bought often lose continuity (if I can describe it like that) and gave me certain points on the board to solder wires to and from these points. After that the beomaster worked flawlessly till I sold it. 

I don't know if anyone recalls this tip?
