Beocord 2400 wants to sign into my system, and it seemed logical to connect it to the Tape 2 at the back of the BM7000, but I do not know how to activate this. I have Beolink 7000, Beo 4, and Beolink 1000. If you have any experience of this, I would much appreciate your advice. The manual for the BM7000 is not very helpful.

Regards

Lennart

Shift A.Tape on the Beolink 1000 and just add Tape 2 to the menu on the Beolink 7000. Not remote though.

Have you got the Beolink 7000 user manual?

You can add Tape 2 to the Beo4 as well and use the List system. Have had the full 7000 system - the Beolink 7000 is the best remote B&O ever made. The Beolink 1000 is the most sturdy! All engineers for B&O used to carry a BL1000!

I do not understan ”not remote though”. Leafing through the LIST sys on Beo4 now, and not quite sure what to choose. Add AV2?

That worked. The BC1000 is sturdy, I agree; a greattool, indeed. I thank you for your help.

The Beocord 2400 does not have Datalink so will not be controllable with the remotes. I used to run my 7000 system with a Beocord 7000 and a Beocord 5500. That way, I could use both in my link rooms.

On the Beo4, there is an A.Tape 2 option, though N.Music is actually the same command!
