I have wired my 2300 BeoSystem into my Masterlink system.......  I received the cables from Steve yesterday and was anxious to get everything up and running.  I have a Beosound 4000 as a master and a few passive and a Beolab 3500 hooked into my system....

Here goes from what I was told with the proper cables which is a cable from the 2300 Beosystem Aux port to a 1612 plugged into the Powerlink socket.  I should be able to plug the 1612 into my  Masterlink system and be good to go.   I did set the active to option 4 and when I hit A.Aux in my BEO4 remote LIST I get no music????  What am I doing wrong?   I have tried to Link to RADIO.  But no luck with any sound.......   What am I doing wrong????

How do I LINK to RADIO?

AM I correctly setting the 1612 to Option 4??     How do I do this?

Like I said I have a BEO4 remote and am really lost here..

Any help???

The BS2300 connection should be to the AUDIO AUX LINK socket of the 1612.

If you get frustrated with the speed of response, perhaps you hit the POST button more than once - this often happens!

But back to your question.  Haver you had a read of this post in the archived forum? http://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/24667.aspx

I think the over-riding problem could be that BC2300 is too old a system to be set up as a 'slave' in a masterlink network.

I was emailing Steve at Sounds Heavenly he gave a solution to use a B&O active unit. Sadly at present I only have a 1612 not a 1638.  Hope fully I can still get this all set up...

Thanks
